- Cayuga Bird Club is based in Ithaca, NY
and has a long history of being associated with the Cornell Lab of Ornithology.
- Cornell Lab of
Ornithology: Lots of information on birds and birding.
- New York State Ornithological Association
is home to the New York State Avian Records Committee.
- Rocky Mountain Bird Observatory
: The RMBO does ornithological research and education about the
Colorado and Rocky Mountain bird populations.
- CFO: Colorado Field Ornothologists.
- AVAS: The Arkansas Valley
Audubon Society, the southern Colorado regional chapter of the AS.
- American Birding Association: A great resource for birders. Check out the ABA Bird Quiz.
- American Ornithologists'
Union. webpage has lots of information about AOU meetings, research, and publications.
- NAS: The National Audubon Society's Homepage.
- USGS Patuxent Wildlife
Research Center: Loads of info on bird research, identification,
and education. They also have a bird quiz here.
- Yukon Bird
Club: "A non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to
promoting awareness, appreciation, and conservation of Yukon birds and
their habitats." Some great gull photos!
