My Adviser is Adrian
Lewis.
I am working on Variational
Analysis, Pseudospectra,
semialgebraic geometry and numerical methods.
Here is a copy of a paper on the Lipschitz continuity of Pseudospectra, here is a talk version (given at ICCOPT II) and here is a poster version.
Research:
My first project was on the (set-valued) continuity of the pseudospectra, and this has led me to two different directions. One direction is to generalize the robust regularization properties of Pseudospectra to single-valued maps and set-valued maps in general. Another direction is to investigate resolvent-critical points in particular. Currently, I am working on numerical methods for the Wilkinson distance (i.e., the distance of a matrix to the closest matrix with non-Lipschitz eigenvalues), and numerical methods for the mountain pass.
