I am a Ph. D. student at Cornell University's Center for Applied Mathematics. My thesis research is on various aspects of ordinary differential equations which model neurons. Part of my work involves looking at these equations from a multiple time scale point of view. You can find a paper on this here. I'm currently working on parameter estimation for these types of models.

I've also worked on some other topics in mathematical biology. One was a project concerning calcium dynamics and the menstrual cycle.
|
I spent a summer working at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center on an enzyme kinetics project. Here is a paper from that project.
|
For two years I was funded by the IGERT program at Cornell. If you are interested in graduate school in nonlinear dynamics you should check it out.

"It is not only possible to say a great deal in praise of play; it is really possible to say the highest things in praise of it. It might reasonably be maintained that the true object of all human life is play. Earth is a taskgarden; heaven is a playground." -G.K. Chesterton

I like to play guitar. Here is a link to the online guitar archives (OLGA).

Curious about who makes it in the music business? Check out my friend's website, and get a chance to download some new music too.
