Research Interests: My main research area is dynamical
systems. Currently I am particularly interested in the analysis of
multiple time scale systems or fast-slow systems. These intricate
ordinary differential equations (ODEs) are used in a wide variety
of fields in applied science. I employ several tools in their analysis
ranging from geometric methods (geometric singular perturbation theory),
numerical simulation and asymptotic analysis to “classical”
bifurcation theory.
