Title: The New Graduate Minor in Computational Science and Engineering (CSE)

Abstract: With Trustee approval last fall, Graduate students at Cornell now have the opportunity to minor in CSE. In this presentation we will talk about requirements, course opportunities and gaps, field membership, and the CSE area in general. See

An important part of this meeting will be for students and faculty to share ideas on how we can use the minor to strengthen the CSE research base at Cornell. Members of the CSE Steering Committee will be present (John Guckenheimer, Steve Pope, Chris Shoemaker, Charlie Van Loan, Steve Vavasis) .
