Title: "Discontinuous Galerkin Methods for the Modeling of Free Surface Flows using High-Order Boussinesq Approximations"

Abstract: We shall discuss the modeling of free surface flows and their modeling. Whereas we briefly discuss some results based on levelset based methods for the modeling of the surfaces, the emphasis is on the use of methods based on high-order Boussinesq approximations.

The computational methods are based on high-order accurate nodal discontinuous Galerkin methods on unstructured grids and we shall address
a number of concerns specific to the Boussinesq systems.

The computational approach has been extensively validated with both benchmark tests and experimental data.

This is work done in collaboration with A.P. Engsig-Karup, P. Madsen, H. Bingham, and T. Warburton.
